Inactivate bacteria in the water stream prior to use
UV system uses UV light which shines into the water stream. As the water passes through the light, bacteria are inactivated in the water by the UV light.

UV system uses ultraviolet light to zap unwanted pathogens, deactivate their DNA and render them inept and unable to reproduce.
UV light inactivate pathogen which disinfect the water without the use of chemical and will not negatively affect the taste and odor of water.
While UV does not remove pathogens and organisms, it does keep them in check by altering their DNA and cell wall. Some of the common microbial contaminants that UV system targets includes E. coli, cryptosporidium, giardia, hepatitis A, etc.
